Fugitive Surface
2017–2020

This series was produced between 2017 and 2020 through a process of altering the surface of printed photographs.

By manipulating the material of the print and allowing the image to slowly shift over time, forms begin to dissolve into pigment, texture, and light. 

The images become less about documenting a moment and more about transformation where the photograph itself becomes a fragile surface in flux.
